How far in advance should I book you for my wedding?
Earlier is always better as your chances are greater that your wedding day will still be available. Six to nine months in advance is recommended but I will also try my best to accommodate a late request.
How can I book you for my wedding?
First, please fill out the inquiry form below to see if your date is available and I will respond within 24-48 business hours with a quote for all services and fees. If at this point you decide to book me for your wedding hair services, you will fill out a contract and pay the retainer fee. This is what is going to reserve your wedding date! Once both forms are received back, I will then be in touch for available trial times and creating that perfect dream wedding hair!
What is your payment policy?
Your retainer fee will be paid electronically through an invoice sent via email. The remaining balance of services is due 7 days prior to your wedding date and will also be paid via invoice. Paying the final balance prior to the wedding ensures that your day is relaxing and stress free as it's one less thing you have to worry about.
Will you bring a second artist?
Yes, if services exceed Bride + 7 attendees or there are time constraints, there will automatically be an additional second artist added.
How early can we start on the day of?
Morning ceremonies are quite popular these days and are very beautiful. For any service requiring an arrival time prior to 8:00 am, an early morning fee will apply. For an arrival prior to 5:30 am overnight accommodations must also be provided.
How should I prepare for my trial/day of appointment?
I ask that everyone arrives with CLEAN, washed and completely dried hair with no product in it.. It is challenging to work with oily hair and I will add the right amount of texture that I need with the products I bring to achieve the perfect style. If you have naturally curly hair, and are not planning to utilize your natural curl within the style, please paddle brush it dry and as straight as possible without using any other sources of heat (no flatirons or curling irons.) Please also arrive in shirts that can easily be removed without messing up the style.
What should I know about my trial?
Not every bride will want or need a trial but if you would like to have one they can be done at anytime. Scheduling a little time in between your trial and your wedding date will allow for any changes to be made such as a haircut to get rid of dry, damaged hair that may not hold curl well or adding in highlights to have dimension to really show off your style.
I always suggest to get on a healthy hair regimen before your wedding, just like you would with your diet and skincare. This consists of consistent hair dustings and deep conditioning treatments. I am happy to help with your hair regimen leading up to your wedding to get your hair healthy and shiny.
How long does each style take?
On average, I schedule out an hour for each style that requires curling and pinning. Extra length or thickness can run a little longer.
